Jenna Kaës

Jenna Kaës is a French product designer and artist working at the intersection of sculpture, object-making, and installation. She is deeply interested in mysticism, memory, and how we memorialize the deceased. She draws on traditional craftsmanship, funerary symbolism, and arcane techniques, to create pieces that feel both historic and contemporary, using a range of materials –– fabric, leather, silver, glass, and bronze.

Jenna also creates site-specific installations that are deeply rooted in history, including the Columbarium and Memorial Garden of the Chartreuse Cemetery (2022) and a zinc and brass gate to the walled garden of the Our Lady Abbey (2025); as well as a program of 18 stained glass windows in the Church of St. Martin of Monthuchon in Normandy.

Jenna joined us for a week in April 2026 to explore Augsburg’s history, and architecture, while researching locations for a site-specific project. "
