Sebastián Espejo

Sebastián Espejo (b. 1990, Santiago, Chile) is a painter who lives and works in London, UK.

Sebastian's often atmospheric landscapes and unusual still lifes are painted from a combination of direct observation and recollection, creating images that feel both familiar and elusive. Through subtle shifts in light, color, perspective, and his decidedly unique style, Sebastian transforms straightforward subjects into paintings that invite prolonged contemplation.

Sebastián joined us in the Summer of 2026, during which he developed a new body of work in the surrounding landscape.

Recent solo exhibitions include The Other Summer at Union Pacific, London (2026); and Bright Moon at Sun Gallery, Seoul (2026). His work has also been exhibited at X Museum, Beijing; Alice Almati, Rome; and Slip House, New York, among others.
